Easier Chords is a browser-local chord worksheet. No account is required, and the site does not provide song search, URL retrieval, a song library, advertising, or third-party analytics.

Who operates the site

Easier Chords is operated by Avishai Niazov in Israel. For privacy and data requests, email contact@easierchords.com.

Information the service handles

• Pasted chord sheets: Text and an optional title entered into the worksheet are processed by JavaScript in your browser tab. They are not intentionally uploaded to Easier Chords, written to its database, added to a library, or saved in browser storage by the application.
• Display preferences: Your selected light or dark appearance and page zoom may be saved in your browser’s local storage so the interface remains comfortable on your device. These preferences do not contain your chord sheet.
• No application cookies: The current paste-only worksheet does not require an Easier Chords account or application session cookie.
• Technical logs: The hosting provider may process ordinary server-log information such as IP address, browser details, requested pages, timestamps, and security events to operate and protect the service.

Why information is used

The chord sheet is used only inside the current browser page to recognize chords, simplify or transpose them, suggest capo positions, draw diagrams, and prepare the print view. Ordinary hosting logs are used to deliver static site files, maintain reliability, and protect the service.

Service provider

Hosting is provided by Hostinger, which delivers the site’s static files and may maintain ordinary operational and security logs. Easier Chords does not send your pasted worksheet to a lyrics provider, YouTube, an artificial-intelligence service, or another content service.

Retention and security

Easier Chords does not intentionally retain the chord sheet or optional title. They remain in the current page while it is open and can be removed immediately with the Clear button. Your browser and device control memory, clipboard history, printing, downloaded PDFs, extensions, and back/forward page caching. Display preferences remain until you clear site data. Hosting logs follow the provider’s operational retention settings. HTTPS and normal access controls are used, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can use the worksheet without an account. Use Clear to remove the current worksheet, close the page when finished, and clear the site’s local storage through your browser if you also want to reset display preferences. Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information contained in hosting logs and may contact us about them.

Children

Easier Chords is a general-audience music tool and is not designed to collect personal information from children. Do not include personal or sensitive information in a chord sheet.

Changes

This policy may change as the service develops. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
