Terms of Use

Effective: July 28, 2026

These terms apply when you use Easier Chords. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

The service

Easier Chords provides tools to search for songs, process user-supplied chord sheets, simplify chords, transpose music, suggest capo positions, display chord diagrams, and prepare printable sheets. Features may change, be limited, or become unavailable without notice.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the text and links you submit and for how you use the output. Only submit or process material when you have the right or permission to do so. Do not use the service to infringe copyright, privacy, or other rights; distribute malware; probe or disrupt the service; evade limits; or use automated traffic that imposes an unreasonable load.

Copyright and public content

A source link or attribution does not by itself grant permission to copy or republish content. Easier Chords does not claim ownership of material you paste or retrieve from third-party pages. User-supplied chord sheets are working material for the requested session and are not automatically published into the public catalog. Public catalog material should be owner-created, licensed, public domain, or otherwise supported by documented permission.

YouTube API Services

The YouTube-link feature uses YouTube API Services only to identify a song from limited public metadata. By using that feature, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Easier Chords does not download YouTube audio, video, captions, transcripts, or lyrics.

Third-party content and links

The service may contact or link to third-party websites. Easier Chords does not control their availability, accuracy, legality, security, terms, or privacy practices. References to third-party services do not imply endorsement.

No professional or performance guarantee

Chord recognition, simplification, transposition, capo suggestions, diagrams, and search matches may contain errors or may not suit a particular instrument, tuning, voice, or performance. Check the result before relying on it. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Easier Chords and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Suspension and changes

Access may be limited or suspended when reasonably necessary to protect the service, its users, third parties, or legal rights. These terms may be updated as the service changes; the effective date above will show the latest revision.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without limiting mandatory rights that may apply where you live.
