Terms of Use
Effective: August 1, 2026
These terms apply when you use Easier Chords. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
The service
Easier Chords is a browser-local worksheet for user-supplied chord sheets. It recognizes original chord names, simplifies or transposes them, suggests capo positions, displays diagrams, and prepares a printable playing copy. It does not provide lyrics, retrieve content from submitted URLs, search a song catalog, or publish a song library. Features may change, be limited, or become unavailable without notice.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the text you paste, the local copies or printouts you create, and how you use the output. Only process material when you have the right or permission to do so. Do not use the service to infringe copyright, privacy, or other rights; probe or disrupt the service; or use automated traffic that imposes an unreasonable load.
Your worksheet and copyright
Easier Chords does not claim ownership of material you paste. The application processes the worksheet inside your browser and does not intentionally upload, retain, publish, share, or add it to a catalog. This technical design does not give you rights in material supplied by someone else. Attribution or temporary use does not replace any permission that may be required.
Browser-local processing
Your chord sheet and optional title remain in the current browser page unless your browser, device, clipboard, extension, printing workflow, or PDF software retains them. The Clear button removes the current worksheet from the page. Display preferences may remain in local storage as described in the Privacy Policy.
No professional or performance guarantee
Chord recognition, simplification, transposition, capo suggestions, and diagrams may contain errors or may not suit a particular instrument, tuning, voice, or performance. The application requires recognizable original chords in the pasted text and cannot derive chords from lyrics alone. Check the result before relying on it. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Easier Chords and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Suspension and changes
Access may be limited or suspended when reasonably necessary to protect the service, its users, third parties, or legal rights. These terms may be updated as the service changes; the effective date above will show the latest revision.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without limiting mandatory rights that may apply where you live.
